This work is based on the visionaries of pre-socratic philosophy. To Empedocles who thought he was an exile from the bosom of God, a wanderer in a foreign land. But also in Heraclitus' eternal "γίγνεσθαι", in the purifying law of decay, and in the "Mind" of Anaxagoras, who "transformed chaos into cosmos". I also based my work on Plato. The "memory" of the lost sky paved my way to proceed. Today I believe that our lives are only a meandering between earthly pain and the pain of the lost heavenly memory. This work is a "visual journey" into the transcendent landscapes of Elytis's poetry, written with the insight and vision of the Mystic. Because Elytis, as a poet, is a Mystic. And in order to be initiated into his poetry, one must operate within that transcendent dimension, which is the vision of the Mystic. Looking at my work, after so many years, I find my markings, dripping with the light of revelation. And I am acquitted.
