As a playwright

What does it mean for me to be a playwright

We live today in the heart of History played out in absentia on the world stage. We live with ourselves and the world together. The migration of people. The collective crimes of madness that dominate the mind of the modern man. The extermination of small weak countries by the state forces.

We are experiencing History at its birth, raw yet, as it is given birth by time, the present moment.

That is why our hands are burned by the blood of events. Because it is fresh and because we are the ones who create this “genesis”, or else we make the pieces of it at a price for our lives.
In other words, we are at the heart of the relentless grand scheme of things and experience history at its birth, with the ruthless help of technology.
