“The rain would not stop, I was soaked, shaking,

oracle “you will find them on the day it rains…”
The Sacred River is the untraceable journey of the soul from the sources of Myth to our day. The journey of the mythic surviving Persephone, with the dim memory of Hades, who will meet the wandering saint with the bloodied cassock.
A novel of love and death, of time which becomes oracle, of the magic element which hides the truth. Ordinary persons who experience events in their unprocessed archetypical form, in order to find the meaning which shines impenetrable within them.
The Sacred River is a magical journey from the soul to the soul.
A journey to the Invisible.
The story begins on the day Narcissus Mavroleon returns, after twenty one years, to his birthplace, near ancient Adonida and the sources of the Acheron. The purpose of his journey is to sell quickly the house he inherited from his family to be free from a childish memory which has marked his life.
But the place entraps him in invisible ways. And a dried up stream, the ancient Hieros, which crosses the land brings to life the mystery which it hides.
There he will live the love of Persephone, a strange girl, who will lead him to the secret of a different self-knowledge.
The novel is all translated into English
