In February 1996, M.L.P. received an invitation from Hayward University in California to attend the Greek Culture Week organized by the Classical Studies Department. The tribute to M.L.P.'s literary work lasted ten days with events such as seminars on her work, symposiums, and recitations of her poems in Greek and English by herself, Theony Condos and Rhoda Kaufman.
At the same time her play "Antigone - Or the nostalgia of tragedy" was staged by the theatrical department of the university. (below are photos from the dress rehearsal of the play)
