{"id":7201,"date":"2020-09-28T10:12:38","date_gmt":"2020-09-28T10:12:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marialampadaridoupothou.gr\/?page_id=7201"},"modified":"2020-10-03T16:46:26","modified_gmt":"2020-10-03T16:46:26","slug":"the-first-passage-of-the-collection-mystic-passage-and-thought","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/marialampadaridoupothou.gr\/en\/the-first-passage-of-the-collection-mystic-passage-and-thought\/","title":{"rendered":"The first passage of the collection Mystic Passage and thought"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\n<h4><em>The Agony of Matter<\/em><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Winter will find me naked<br>\nIn a dilapidated room<br>\nWith time welling up through the holes of the floors<br>\nWinter will find me stirring the ashes<br>\nof my poetry<\/p>\n<p>A handful of words like star or blood<br>\nLike I wander or oath like<br>\n&#8220;Souls can smell&#8221;<br>\nI burn them to warm myself<\/p>\n<p>*<br>\nWinter will find me barefoot wandering<br>\nUp and down the one and only abyss<br>\nThe soil is soft I sink into it<br>\nMud from ancient stars<br>\n&#8220;I will get through,&#8221; I say<br>\nBranches of the azure in my hands<br>\nAnd the tree officiates over the silver of the desert<br>\nOdor of the boundless void<br>\nMy pained matter that I inhabited<\/p>\n<p>I raise my poetry before<br>\n&#8220;Garment stained with blood&#8221;<br>\nI burn it to warm myself<\/p>\n<p>*<br>\nAnd it rains and rains in my tattered room<br>\nWhich sways a &#8220;reward for fire&#8221;<br>\nIt rains full moon and ancient blood<br>\nCrystals laden with my centuries<\/p>\n<p>I bend over to look at myself in the most,<br>\nIn the most deep well of cracked crystal<br>\nMy face perplexed and mournful<br>\nAnd it rains and rains silver deserts on<br>\nthe sacred icon<\/p>\n<p>My body is an odor of night&#8217;s shudder<br>\nAnd the archangel standing in the window<br>\nFashions a sensuous curve from God and Universe<\/p>\n<p>I wrap myself in the boundless azure<br>\nTo pass through.<\/p>\n<p>Winter will find me dreaming<br>\nA rose sprouted on the storm<br>\nWith paradise shifting like a mirage<br>\nand Time still prophetic<br>\nliberating the stars from my flesh.<\/p>\n<p>*<br>\nWinter will find me in the desert<br>\nMarching like a revelation<br>\nAnd Age, the Exterminator, melts like<br>\nA scented candle<br>\nWith the seven flames kindled in my body<br>\nSites of nascent whiteness<br>\nWith a fragrance of burnt pine-needle for recognition<\/p>\n<p>A rose that prays forgotten<br>\nAt the edge of the storm<\/p>\n<p>I walk no longer<br>\nI sink down like a prophetic dream.<\/p>\n<p>Mystic Passage<br>\nMystic Passage<br>\nI wrote:<br>\n<em><strong>I believe that this is my most crucial work. Blood poetry &#8220;a naked rose to contain the desert&#8221;.
