Nobody knew his heart <\/em>
For two centuries it cries inside the stone<\/em>
and upon it Time carves the story of the world<\/em>
the letters fading <\/em>
getting angrier <\/em>
And in the nights of desolate moonlight <\/em>
comes the Rider <\/em>
his eyes gusts of wind<\/em><\/p>\n

he comes with a pen in hand <\/em>
to write the poem he could not complete<\/em>
but the blood is fresh<\/em><\/p>\n

Where are you Sons of Roumeli?<\/em>
Did you also name Freedom your hotels?<\/em><\/p>\n

I want to reach the glade <\/em>
to walk with you <\/em>
where the Memory is still sacred <\/em>
iluminating forests and mountains at nights<\/em>
When the dead walk alone<\/em>
standing godforsaken clutching their silver<\/em>
because their weapons are sleeping in the museums <\/em>
and wisper words of a freedom<\/em>
that has faded over time.<\/em><\/p>\n

I cannot bare this History <\/em>
with the shameful coin in hand <\/em>
I cannot bare History written with coin<\/em>
I am the Poet <\/em>
I gave my heart to the Idea <\/em>
and heart is what I seek<\/em><\/p>\n

Where are you brothers in arms of Roumeli and Morias <\/em>
I want to walk with you <\/em>
to the highest peaks <\/em>
for the whole world to witness <\/em>
that the Souls grew taller with time <\/em>
that they are not dead damn it <\/em>
we never died <\/em>
And maybe it is time we rewrite History <\/em>
from the beginning.<\/em><\/p>\n

And so the Poet alone <\/em>
with his bare hand against the times<\/em>
is the truth outside of History<\/em>
where only the Souls are vigilant<\/em>
Proud.<\/em><\/p>\n

And if you happen to be on a moonlit night<\/em>
to the land of Roumeli<\/em>
you can hear footsteps and incoherent words<\/em>
the way that only the Poet<\/em>
the tongue of mountains and gods<\/em>
the tongue of lightning<\/em>
and of blood can speak<\/em>
of the truth left outside of mortals' time<\/em><\/p>\n

Because the Poet writes the story of the world<\/em><\/p>\n
